Georgina has been in private practice since 2008 and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the Jersey Care Commission.  She holds a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy, a Degree in Psychology, and an Advanced Diploma in Counselling.  She is also a member of leading professional bodies, including the British Psychological Society and the UK Council for Psychotherapy.

Her professional background spans a variety of therapeutic settings.  Georgina has worked with charities supporting people through mental illness, sexual abuse, sexual identity, bereavement and major life changes.  This experience has given her a deep understanding of what it means to face adversity, navigate loss, and build resilience.

She also brings insight from her work in Compliance within the finance sector, as well as experience in corporate and self‑employed environments.  This allows her to understand the pressures, responsibilities, and stressors that can affect wellbeing in the workplace.

Georgina works holistically, weaving conversations about health and wellbeing into her therapeutic approach.  Her counselling style is Existential.  Rather than focusing on symptoms or diagnoses, she explores how we understand the world, the meanings we attach to our experiences, and how our values shape the way we live.
