Accessibility, Terms & Conditions
The counselling site is set in the quiet rural parish of St Martin, hidden away down a leafy lane, nestled amongst fields and trees. Clients will be given a map and specific directions upon booking. Please be aware that access to the counselling site is via stone steps and therefore if this is an issue I can offer telephone or online counselling.

T's & C's will be sent upon confirmation of your counselling appointment, and upon request.
Costs & Payment Plans
Payment plans can reduce the cost of counselling by booking six or ten appointments in advance. There is no need to make a decision before we meet, see how you feel throughout the first appointment and we can talk about whether you would like to book a course at the end of that appointment.
The amount you chose may depend on what you would like to deal with, one may be enough for you or you may wish to take a focussed approach within a specific timeframe. You chose what is right for you.

One counselling appointment = £125 (from 1st January 2025 the rate will be £130)
Six counselling appointments = £625 (from 1st January 2025 the rate will be £650)
Ten counselling appointments = £1,000 (from 1st January 2025 the rate will be £1,040)
Concession rates for student counsellors £70

Appointments covered by medical insurance are welcome and are charged at full price per session.

Late cancellation charge is the session rate if 24 hours notice is not given prior to the appointment.
Confidentiality, Privacy, Compliments & Complaints
Confidentiality & Privacy Policy
Strict confidentiality is an essential part of the counselling process. This means that whatever you say will not be disclosed to anyone else unless there is a legal requirement to do so, or where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or another. In all but the most exceptional circumstances we will discuss the options prior to disclosure.
Confidential Counselling is registered with the Jersey Office of Information Commissioner and commits to comply with the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018. The collection of personal data is required as part of the counselling process, such as your name, address, telephone number, date of birth, age, GP contact details and a brief overview of your health and wellbeing.
Your data is not processed electronically, nor is automated profiling used. If you would like further information on your rights in relation to your personal data please refer to the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 or the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner.
I keep personal data records for at least ten years to allow for returning clients, after which they are securely destroyed.
Compliments & Complaints
Compliments and complaints are always welcome. Should you have cause for complaint, please in the first instance speak to me. It is best if you make your complaint as soon as possible, while the events are still clear, however, all complaints will be investigated irrespective of when they happened. Should you feel unable to speak to me about a counselling related complaint, please contact one of the Regulatory Bodies noted on the homepage.
